Troubleshooting common issues after Zakra v3.0 & Pro v2.0 updates

We’ve recently launched major updates for both the free and Pro versions of the Zakra theme. These updates bring substantial enhancements to both the front end and back end of the theme, making it easier for us to develop and release more frequent updates with exciting new features, fixes, and improvements. Plus, your site’s user experience will significantly improve with this update, and we plan to continue elevating Zakra with each future update.

While it’s unlikely that you’ll experience noticeable issues with your site after this update, there are other factors that could cause problems. If you’re experiencing design issues such as oversized icons, unnatural font sizes, layout issues, or a lack of styling in your page content, these issues are likely due to caching or incomplete migration of customizer options.

1. Caching problem (Broken design)

Your hosting company may have enabled server cache on your site. Additionally, you might have used WordPress caching plugins. Normally, the new version of the theme loads on your site after you update it from the WordPress dashboard. However, your site might take time to show the latest version of the design due to the delay in loading the latest styles. There could be various reasons for that. You need to check if the configuration is done properly in the plugin or the server.

To fix this problem, you need to clear the cache. Firstly, if you’re using a caching plugin, try clearing the cache using the plugin’s settings. You might need to look into their documentation. If this doesn’t fix the problem, please contact your hosting provider and ask to clear the server cache.

2. Fixing migration issues

Since this update includes lots of customizer option rearrangements, we needed to migrate values from old options to new ones. Unfortunately, some options fail to do so. So, we have added a button to fix the problem. Please read this article and follow the instructions:

Fix Migration Issue: (https://docs.zakratheme.com/en/article/how-to-fix-incomplete-demo-import-in-the-zakra-theme-1ecxwq2/)

This will fix the migration problems and get you back to your normal design.
