If you are using Zakra Theme and want to import the demo content for your site, then you are at the right place. With just one click, you will easily be able to import Zakra demos.

Importing starter sites doesn't delete your previous content. It just adds new settings and content to your site. While it only adds new content, the previous design of your site might seem to be broken. Thus, we highly recommend you to import starter sites on a fresh WordPress install.

How to install Zakra Theme?

Installing the Zakra theme is pretty easy! All you need to do is follow the steps below:

From your WordPress Dashboard, go to Appearance > Themes and click on Add New.
Search for – Zakra.
**Install **and **Activate **it.

It is shown in the image below:

Alternatively, you can directly upload the theme. Steps for doing so are shown below:

Click on this link and a file named zakra.zip will automatically be downloaded to your computer.
After the download is finished, look for the zakra.zip file on your computer. It will likely be in your Downloads folder. Once you find it, remember the location and continue to the next step.
Go to Appearance > Themes and go to Add New. Now click on Upload Theme.
Click on browse and navigate to the downloaded zakra.zip file and click on Install Now.
Activate it.

From your WordPress Dashboard, go to the Appearance > Customize > Header > Header Main Area section.
Toggle off the Enable Search Icon option.
Click on Publish.

The Zakra Pro Add-On provides you with the following additional options when it comes to the Header Top Bar.

Style: The Style option changes the position of the Left Content and the Right Content on the Header Top Bar. Choose the Style you prefer from the following options available:

First option: Left Content on the Left and Right Content on the Right.
Second option: Both at the Center.
Third option: Left Content on the **Right ** and Right Content on the left.

Visibility: Set the visibility of Header Top Bar. You can choose from the following options:

Show on all devices: Display the Header Top Bar on all devices.
Hide in Mobile: Only hide the Header Top Bar on Mobile devices.
