How to Import Zakra Demos?

If you are using Zakra Theme and want to import the demo content for your site, then you are at the right place. With just one click, you can easily import Zakra demos.

| For Premium Demo, Zakra Pro and Companion Addons for the Elementor plugin are a must. You need a ** Personal Plus or above** package to use it. If you have a Personal Plan, you can upgrade as instructed here: Upgrade the License

Can we import starter sites on our existing website?[IMPORTANT] #

Importing starter sites doesn’t delete your previous content. It just adds new settings and content to your site. While it only adds new content, the previous design of your site might seem to be broken. Thus, we highly recommend you import starter sites on a fresh WordPress install.

||| Importing starter sites onto an existing site with content is not recommended.

To Import a Demo in One Click #

1. ** Install and Activate Zakra Theme**
2. Once you’ve **installed **and activated Zakra, a notice will appear on your dashboard, prompting you to get started with the theme.

It is shown in the image below:

3. Click on Get Started with Zakra, which will automatically set up the ThemeGrill Demo Importer plugin and redirect you to the demos page. Here, you can check out the available demos and import the one you like. Just hover the mouse cursor over the demo and click on Import.

Missed the Welcome Notice or Dismissed the Welcome Notice Unknowingly #

1. Navigate to Admin Dashboard > Appearance > Zakra Options
2. After clicking on the Zakra Options, you will be redirected to the Zakra Options Page.
3. Click on the Install ThemeGrill Demo Importer Plugin
4. Then, the ThemeGrill Demo Importer Plugin will be installed, and you will be redirected to the demos page.

To Import a Demo Manually (Alternative Way) #

If you missed the welcome notice, you can still get started with importing demos using this method.

1. ** Install and Activate Zakra Theme**
2. Go to Plugins > Add New from your WordPress Dashboard and search for ThemeGrill Demo Importer. Now just **install **and **activate **it.

It is shown in the image below:

3. Go to Appearance > Demo Importer and look at the available demos.
4. Hover the mouse cursor over the demo you want and click on Import.

Import Demo Content #

1. Install the ThemeGrill Demo Importer manually or using the one-click method.
2. The one-click method will redirect you automatically to the demos page. If you choose the manual method, navigate to Appearance > Demo Importer to view the demos page. It is shown in the image below:

3. Clicking on **Import ** will reveal a popup message shown below:

4. If you are sure about importing, you can click Confirm to proceed. That’s all there is to it. Your demo content will then be ready.
